Newspaper Paper

Yesterday I went and spoke to Dashing Print in NS and the thinnest paper they carry is 70gsm, it can be done in any size, but I can't be double sided and its a bright white colour..

I've contacted Arrow Printing and he stocks 'News Print' . I'm waiting to hear back about whether it can be double sided or colour. We will still have to find someone able to print on it.

Tomorrow I'll speak to Dave and possibly the guy whos work Matt showed us

The Purple Journal is a mag all about stories from people's travels.

The layout's pretty simple and it's printed on a lovely paper.

This is Acne Paper, it's F off huge and is printed on paper similar to newspaper..

It was really hard to get a good picture but you get the general idea..

This is Peppermint. Apparently it's the first eco friendly fashion mag or whatever.. Still looks pretty cool. I like the way the photos are layed out with the round corners and colour filters..

I'm all for full page photo spreads!

Thought for photography of Market Place

Hey, was just thinking about taking photos of areas and things and just wanted to say that I really like the look of 'macro' pics, when one thing up close is in focus and the background blurred or the other way around. I got 2 examples of what I mean, I reckon it could look good for the mag. xx
