Exciting stuff..

So I went down to Manly on Monday to get inspired, take some photos and get a hot chocolate from Max Brenner. Market Place looks bad on a good day, so you can imagine what it looks like when it's raining on bin day. So there I stood, in the middle of Market Place, complete with rubbish bins, dodgy peeps that hang in lanes and the ugliest mural in the world. I decided to make the most of it and take photos of things that need improvement or are a hazard.

I thought this thing was pretty cool.

Don't know what it is but it gave me an idea for a lettermark..

My attempts at Lettermarkmaking..

Colours and textures taken from Market Place, signs and bins.

One thing that definitely needs improving is the signage..

hey I circled the ones I liked, then did some quick sketches, I think the ones circled are nice fonts and the little loops can easily be made into triangles to relate back to the space

Hmm I'm not sure, I've rounded the ends of the letterforms like suggested, I think My mock up of the waxstamp might feel to cloud like? tell me what you think, these are only roughs but they give some sort of idea, I think..... hmmmmm
